A Rainy Day

A rainy day
is a perfect day
to grab your favorite book
or newspaper to read.
Also, enjoying having a cup of latte,
coffee or tea.

A rainy day
is when listening
to the sound of shhhh,
heavy rain.
Washing the pollens off
from the car windows
and grounds.

A rainy day
is when you see
raindrops falling
to the ground
in many directions.
Swoosh, swoosh
splat, splat.
Sshhhhh,
every sounds the rain makes
music.
If you really listen to it
closely.

A rainy day
is a perfect day
to listen to jazz or classical music.
Watching the rain from coffee shops,
libraries and art studios windows.

A rainy day
can make you feel
gloomy,
depressed,
creative,
relax
or energetic.
Depends on your moods.

A rainy day is a perfect day
to pamper yourself
and to refresh your thoughts,
mind and soul.

May your rainy day
be filled with joy
and love
as the rain cleanses
your warm soul.
